WW2 German commemorative “Death Card”, double panel, for Karl Ruppert. He served as an NCO (Unteroffizier) in an infantry regiment. The photo of him in dress uniform appears to indicate that he’d been awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class. Unit numerals can be seen on his shoulder straps. He died on October 27th 1942 somewhere on the Eastern Front. Nice large photo of German soldiers standing by a grave on the reverse.
