WW2 German commemorative “Death Card”, double-panel, for Ludwig Hailer, a Meldereiter (interestingly he’s identified as a “messenger”) in an infantry regiment. He was killed on November 5th 1942 on the Eastern Front. He was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class. Very nice photo of him wearing a Stahlhelm with decal, his Iron Cross ribbon visible.
