WW2 period German “Death Card”, single-pannel, for Ignaz Gollez, a Pionier (combat engineer). He was killed on the Eastern front in late July 1944 (I believe in the Ukrainian-Romanian region of Bukovina). An interesting quote from his company commander printed on the card.
