WW2 period German “Death Card”, single-pannel, for Karl Obtmeier, a Soldat in a Grenadier regiment. He was awarded the Wound Badge (Verwundeten Abzeichen) and he can be seen wearing the ribbon for the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (KvK m / schwertern) in his portrait photo. He died of his wounds in a field hospital on May 3rd 1943 on the Eastern Front.
