WW2 period German “Death Card”, single-pannel, for Josef Schaible, an Obergefreiter in an infantry regiment. He was awarded the Eastern Front Campaign medal (Ostmedaille). He was killed on October 28th 1943 around “Nowo-Kitschkass”, Russia. Nice studio portrait of him in dress uniform, with unit slip ons on his shoulder straps.
