WW2 period German “Death Card”, single-pannel, for Georg Löffler, a Gefreiter in a grenadier regiment. He was killed in combat on February 9th 1943, around the Russian port city of Novorossyisk along the Black Sea. He was awarded the Eastern Front Campaign medal (Ostmedaille) and had fought in the Polish and French campaigns.
