WW2 period German “Death Card”, single-pannel, for Jakob Wurzer, an Obergefreiter in a Combat Engineers unit (Pionnier-Regt.). He was killed on February 15th 1945 in “the East”. He was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eis. Kr. II Kl.), Wound badges (Verw.-Abzeichen), Assault Badges (Sturm Abzeichen) and the Eastern Front Campaign Medal (Ostmedaille). Nice photo of him in uniform, with a General Assault Badge clearly visible.
