WW1 period German photographic postcard depicting soldiers taking an artillery observer's balloon out of its hangar in the morning. The reverse has the inscription “Westlicher Kriegsschauplatz” and was printed with permission from military authorities. Rare postcard, nice inscription on the front. n very good condition, hasn’t been filled-in or mailed.
