WW1 Iron Cross photo album - 92 photo postcards

Hardcover, WW1 period German photo album (measuring around 20cm x 13.5cm, 4.5cm thick). It contains 92 WW1 era postcards, nearly all are photographic postcards, with handful of colour artistic postcards. Most of the postcards have been filled in and mailed, marked “Feldpost” on the reverse and are dated between 1915 and 1918. The photos depict a large variety of scenes including German troops in trenches / defensive works, attending military funerals, military parades, group photos, supply columns, troops relaxing on leave drinking beer, destroyed landscapes in Northern France, portrait photos, etc. Most of the photos have printed captions on them describing the location and other details. Some highlights include a soldier posing with a machine gunners badge on his uniform (uncommon image), German troops occupying Antwerp and Warsaw, as well as liberating the Ukrainian city of Lutsk, plus notable locations such as Vimy, Arras and St. Quentin.
Nice photo album, practically all the pages have been filled with postcards. The Iron Cross on the front cover is very eye-catching, it looks great and the album is in good condition, just a little age and minor scuff marks (though the decorative Iron Cross looks amazing). Neat item, both for display and for its photo contents.
