Wehrpass - Sudetenland NCO 1940 / WW1 veteran

2nd edition Wehrpass issued to Franz Seidler in late October 1939. Seidler was born in February 1897 and was a resident of the town of Tachau, located in the Sudetenland region (annexed in 1938). He served with multiple units in WW1, from 1915 to 1918, presumably with the Austro-Hungarian army (I can’t make out the unit entries). He also served in several military units in the 1920’s, presumably the Czechoslovak military. He was accepted into the Heer in October 1939 with the rank of Unteroffizier. Interestingly he was trained to use the Gewehr 24 (t), a rifle designed by the Czechoslovak military in the 1920’s, basically a derivative of the standard German Gewehr 98k rifle. It was adopted into the Wehrmacht after the annexation, though I haven’t seen it listed in any Wehrpasses until now.
Seidler served with Ld. Sch. Kompanie 77 in Nuremberg, a homeguard / training army unit. According to entries he appears to have served until at least February 1940. He completed an anti-espionage training course in the autumn of 1939. His helmet, gasmask and uniform sizes are listed. Neat item for a Sudetenland German who appears to have served in 3 different national armies.
Comes with two documents: a Dienstzeitbescheinigung document confirming his Wehrmacht service from 1939 to 1940 and a Wehrpass Notiz dated June 1941, which appears to excuse him from service.
