2nd edition Wehrpass for Gefreiter Josef Jünger. He joined the Heer in June 1940 and served in several infantry formations, mainly as a member of Infanterie Regiment 405. He was discharged in late September 1943 (receiving a discharge payment of 50 Reichsmarks). He served in Northern Russia, participating in combat around Leningrad (Abwehrkämpfe vor Leningrad) in the autumn and winter of 1941. He was awarded the Wound Badge in Silver in June 1942. The Wehrpass is nicely filled out with his blood group, uniform size and helmet size. Nearly all entries are photographed above.

Comes with an October 1943 dated Ausmusterungsschein, certifying that Josef Jünger from Aachen, Germany, is unfit for further military service (presumably due to his previous wounds). Nice Wehrpass for a twice-wounded infantry veteran who fought in the siege of Leningrad.
