Large hardcover cloth book, measuring around 29cm x 11.5cm, with a War Merit Cross 1st Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1 Kl. mit Schwertern) attached to the front cover. The book contains well over 100 pages and hasn’t been used or written in. The paper is old and the book appears to be of war time vintage. The War Merit Cross medal appears genuine, I’ve gotten some positive opinions on it. It has the correct dimensions (4.8cm x 4.8cm), details and material. Oddball item, the medal is well affixed to the book, it may have been attached sometime after the war, impossible to say.
