WW2 German Silver Wound Badge award document (Besitzzeugnis das Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber), awarded to Obergefreiter Konstantin Schlüter, who served with Artillerie Regiment 122, which was attached to the 122nd Infantry Division. This division fought extensively on the Eastern Front, participating in the siege of Leningrad, the Demyansk pocket, battles in Finland and the Battle of Narva, among others. Obergefreiter Schlüter was wounded 3 times (Nov 42, March 43 and March 44). After being wounded a third time he was awarded the Wound Badge in Silver in late March 1944. The document is signed by his unit commander, a captain (Hauptmann). Nice award document for a veteran Heer soldier who fought in several well-known battles.
