Photo of Hitler and Göring, Anschluss celebration 38 - Danzig party stamped
Couldn't load pickup availability
Photograph of Hitler and Göring (in dress uniform holding a Field Marshal’s baton) standing on a balcony. The photo measures around 16cm x 11.5cm and has two property stamps on the reverse, both of which state “Sturm Abteilung Danzig”, which would appear to be an SA unit based in the city of Danzig.
Note: Based on my research this appears to be a fairly well known photograph of Hitler, taken on March 16th 1938. Hitler and Göring were being cheered by a large crowd assembled at the Chancellery in Berlin to congratulate the Führer on the recent annexation of Austria (Anschluss).
