WW2 period German photographic postcard, from the series "Offiziere im Kampf" (Officers in combat). This example depicts German infantry readying themselves for combat in a Soviet forest, according to the inscription printed on the reverse. Interesting details in the photo and nice that the war correspondent who took the photo is mentioned. Filled out and mailed by a soldier in May 1943, with a Feldpost stamp on the reverse. In very good condition.
