Large photo of Field Marshal Busch and Field Marshal Brauchitsch
Large (31.5cm x 22.5cm) photograph of two German Field Marshals and two unidentified officers. Visible in the photo are Colonel General (later promoted to Field Marshal) Ernst Busch and the Commander in Chief of the Army (Oberbefehlshaber des Heeres), Field Marshal Walther von Brauchitsch. The caption specifies that the photo is of them visiting a forward position along the Westwall defenses, presumably during the winter of 1939-40. The photo is undated, but was taken by a war correspondent (Kriegsberichter) who was later killed in action named v. Erstorff.
