Kennkarte with protective cover - Austrian woman 1944
Couldn't load pickup availability
WW2 German Kennkarte ID card in its faux-leather protective hardcover case (marked Deutsches Reich Kennkarte in silvered script on the front cover). The Kennkarte was issued to an Austrian woman by the name of Maria (the family name is difficult to make out) who was born in May 1921. The Kennkarte was issued in May 1944, filled in and stamped by the local authorities in the town of Wolfsberg, Austria. Unfortunately the accompanying photo has been lost to time. The cover is in good shape, but has unfortunately been denazified at some point. Interesting item, these Kennkarte covers don’t come up very often.
