Photographic postcard with a portrait photo of Adolf Hitler. The reverse has two “1 Reichsmark” postage stamps (portraying Hindenburg) and 2 dated stamps commemorating the 1938 Nuremberg rally (Nürnberg Reichsparteitag der NSDAP 12.9.1938). There is also an interesting dated stamp commemorating the meeting between Prime Minister Chamberlain and Adolf Hitler, leading to the infamous Munich Agreement (Historische Zusammenkunst Chamberlain - Hitler, Berchtesgaden 15.9.38). Interesting that both these historical events are commemorated on the same postcard, the owner appears to have been present at both Nuremberg during the rally and in Berchtesgaden during the Munich Agreement negotiations (location of Hitler’s Berghof alpine residence, Hitler did indeed meet with Chamberlain on September 15th, at the Berghof).
