Third Reich era German photographic postcard depicting the famous zeppelin “Hindenburg” being brought out of its hangar. The zeppelin is clearly identified in the inscription on the reverse. Interestingly, there is a stamp placed on the reverse indicating that this postcard was given out as a “thank you” for having donated 0.30 RM to a fund that would help victims of the Hindenburg disaster, as well as building a new zeppelin. Interesting postcard of a historical event. It has a little wear along the edges.
