1943 dated “Der Soldatenfreund, Taschenjahrbuch für die Wehrmacht mit Kalendarium für 1943, Ausgabe C: Luftwaffe”, German soldier’s pocket journal and calendar (air force edition). Hardcover booklet, 192 pages of text, 22 pages of period advertisements and a full calendar for the year 1943. The text is mainly Luftwaffe regulations, history, various short dictionaries, etc. Unfortunately the colorized pages showing military rank, insignia and flags are missing, as is one of the inner cover illustration pages. There are some notes penciled in the calendar section that are likely WW2 period (appears to be names of people and / or places), though there are also entries written in post-WW2. Shows some age and wear to the cover, but the booklet isn’t fragile and the spine is in decent shape. See photos for details.
