Third Reich German DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) member’s visor cap. The cap is complete with its original chinstrap, buttons and DAF emblem badge attached to the front. The celluloid sweat diamond in the interior features a silver DAF emblem on it. The original RZM cloth production tag attached to the interior of the sweat band. Interestingly the cap is named, with “CHR. SCHMID” printed into the interior sweatband. The metal top stiffening band has been removed, this was sometimes done at the time to make the cap more comfortable. In very good condition, apart from minor wear and age to the dark cloth.
