1941 dated artwork print of Luftwaffe Major Helmut Wick, a fighter ace who downed 56 Allied planes during his brief career (he was killed in late 1940). He was awarded the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves. This drawing is based on a sketch by Willrich and this print is from a series printed by the Volksbund für das Deutschum im Ausland organization. The print measures around 21cm x 14.5cm, in good condition.
