WW2 German commemorative “Death Card”, single-panel, for Josef Mergemeir, an Unteroffizier “Cheffunker” (signals leader) in a Panzer regiment. He was killed on October 18th 1944 on the Western Front. He was awarded the Eastern Front Campaign medal, the War Merit Cross with Swords, Wound badges and other awards. Photo is glued on to the reverse of the card.
