WW2 German commemorative “Death Card”, double-panel, for Otto Moog, a Feldwebel and Zugführer (squad leader) in a grenadier regiment. He was killed on August 28th 1943 around the city of Vyasma, on the Eastern Front. He was awarded the Iron Cross 1st Class, 2nd Class, the Wound badges in Black and Silver, the Eastern Front Campaign medal and the Westwall campaign medal. The text details that he was killed leading his men defending a rail-line and that he was wounded during the winter of 41/42. Very nice large photo of him in dress uniform, with his Iron Crosses visible.
