WW2 period German “Death Card”, single-pannel, for Johann Wagenleitner, an Obergefreiter in an artillery regiment. He was killed on March 8th 1944, south of a location called Samen Rinja, on the Eastern Front. In his portrait photo he can be seen wearing ribbons for the Eastern Front Campaign medal (Ostmedaille) and the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (KvK m / schwertern).
