1st edition Wehrpass for Ernst Bischoff, from the city of Unna, Germany. He was born in 1898 and the Wehrpass was issued in March 1937. He does not appear to have been called up for service during WW2, though he was deemed fit for possible service. He fought in WW1, serving with Infanterie Regiment 173 and Infanterie Regiment 459, from late 1916 to January 1919. He served on the Western Front and was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class in October 1917. All stamps and entries photographed here.
