Wehrpass - Train driver, Swabia
2nd edition Wehrpass issued to Karl Albert Reitenauer, who was born in June 1911, in the city of Augsburg, Germany. The entries indicate that he trained as a metalworker (Schlosser) and worked as a train driver for the Reichsbahn (Reservelokomotivführer). The stamps in the Wehrpass show that he was called up for service several times and deemed fit for military service, however the Wehrpass entries do not show that he served, likely due to his type of employment, which would have likely exempted him from war service. He appears to have worked as a train driver in the region of Swabia (notably the town of Kempten). All entries and stamps have been photographed. In good condition, though unfortunately the Hakenkreuz on the front cover has been partly de-nazified, see photos for details.
