2nd edition Wehrpass for Schütze Heinz Müller. He was drafted into the Heer in June 1941, serving with various training formations (including a cavalry unit, “Reiterzüge) before serving with the 12. MG Komp. Infanterie Regiment 102. He joined the 102nd infantry regiment as it was being transferred from Crimea to Northern Russia, in July 42. He fought with his unit until he was killed, aged 19, on October 7th 1942, south of Lake Ladoga. The Wehrpass contains entries indicating that he underwent instruction in “secrecy and counterintelligence”, as well as his uniform and stahlhelm size and his vaccination history. Comes with an ID printout that mentions that Müller’s burial site in Russia is unknown.
