2nd edition Wehrpass issued to Georg Meister, who was born in September 1899, around the town of Hof. He appears to have worked as a stonecutter / mason. He was drafted into the Luftwaffe on April 7th 1942. He served with a logistics / supply unit, namely Nachschubkompanie d. Lw. 21/XI. According to the entries, he served with this same unit from April 1942 until May 5th 1945, finishing the war in the area of Hamburg. He served in occupied France, starting in early May 1942, serving in the “Luftwaffe’s campaign against England” (Einsatz im Operationsgebiet Westfrankreich im Kampf d. Luftwaffe gegen England). There’s an interesting authorization stamp bearing a Paris based Luftwaffe HQ stamp (Lg. V.A. Paris L 43850). He was trained to use the standard Gewehr 98k rifle. He was promoted to Gefreiter in April 1943 and Obergefreiter in May 1944. A little spartan with entries, but an interesting Luftwaffe Wehrpass for a support soldier who served in occupied France.
