Large (38cm x 28.5cm), Deutscher Reichskriegverbund Kyffhäusserbund veteran’s association award certificate given to Unteroffizier Wilhelm Kotke, from Aachen, Germany. NCO Kotke served with the “1. Garde Reserve Division”, a unit that served in Eastern Germany as one of the “Freikorps” that fought against Poles and others along the disputed frontiers in 1919 and the early 1920’s. The document was printed in July 1937 and has an original signature of the leader of the Kyffhäusserbund veteran’s association, Colonel Wilhelm Reinhard, who held the rank of Gruppenführer (later Obergruppenführer) in the SS. It has a little wear and small tears along the edges and has tape applied to the reverse, but displays nicely and is in decent condition. See photos for details.
