Third Reich-era German passport / reisepass issued to Sofie Beck and her two children in late September 1937. She was born in 1897 and resided around the city of Stuttgart. Her two sons were named Walter (born in 1923) and Fritz (born in 1930). Nice photo of the three of them posing together. Since her children were minors they would be traveling using their parent’s passport. Quite a few stamps and entries in this passport, all but 5 pages have entries, very well travelled family. She appears to have been a very frequent traveller to France until July 1939 (the war put a stop to that). She also travelled several times to Switzerland and Italy, mainly from 1939 to 1941. The front cover is partly denazified (pencilled over Hakenkreuz), but the stamps are not, with one exception on the first page. Nice family passport, I’ve rarely handled an example that is as well filled-in as this one.
