Award Document - WW1 Somme Kreuz, Hamburg soldier
Award certificate (Besitz Urkunde) stating that Hans Wilhelm Outzen, a soldier who served with the Ers. Res. Hamburg Fu. , was awarded the Somme Kreuz for having participated in this battle during WW1. He awarded this medal on December 5th 1933, being recipient # 13072. The Somme Kreuz was an unofficial medal that was given out by a German veteran’s association in the 1930’s. It’s a fairly rare medal and award certificate. Nicely stamped and displays well, unfortunately it does show damage and wear, especially along the edges. See photos for details.
