Early pattern (pre 1936) Deutsche Jungvolk cloth sleeve badge. This example was unissued and still has its factory RZM manufacturers' paper tag on the reverse. The white sigrune symbol on a black circular background indicates that it was to be issued to a member of Oberbann 5, a DJ unit located in the German region of Saxony. Hard to find these early DJ insignia, particularly examples with their original RZM tag still attached.
